I spotted this guy on a beautiful hot day sitting over the water at Traquair House. Traquair is known for hosting Kings and Queens in years gone by - not least Bonnie Prince Charlie for whom the famous Bear gates were last closed in 1745. I think this Kingfisher deserves a Royal name.
